Saltwood Church of England School is a Voluntary-Aided School and as such, the Governing Body acts as the admissions authority for the school. Applications must be made by completing a RCAF on-line or by completing a paper version. If you wish to apply to the school on religious grounds you will need to complete the school’s supplementary information form and return it to the school. The supplementary information form is used in the event of over-subscription.\\

Thank you for considering Saltwood Church of England Primary School for your child.  You are making an important decision and we wish to do all we can to support you in this process.

During the current period of national lockdown we are unable to host tours of the school. We are offering prospective parents individual Zoom appointments with a member of our Senior Leadership Team so that we are able to give you a real insight into our unique and happy school.

Parents can also choose to sign up for a live video presentation with our Executive Head Teacher, Mr Newton on the following dates:

Tuesday 3rd November at 1:30pm

Monday 23rd November at 11am

Wednesday 9th December at 2pm

You can apply for a place at our school via the KCC website any time between November 2020 and 15th January 2021. You should also complete and return a Supplementary Information Form directly to the school. The form can be downloaded via the Admissions Arrangements link at the top of this page.

Timetable for parental appeals

If your child is due to start primary, infant or junior school in 2021 you can appeal between 16 April and 14 May 2021 to guarantee that your appeal will be heard by 16 July 2021For applications made in the normal admission round, appeals must be heard within 40 school days of the deadline for lodging appeals.  For late applications, appeals should be heard within 40 schools days from the deadline for lodging appeals where possible, or within 30 schools days of the appeals being lodged.
