Mrs Lucy Richardson

Saltwood School lost a much loved member of staff with the passing of Lucy Richardson during the summer holiday. She has been described as the caring heart of our school because she dedicated so much of her energy to improving the lives of our children. She was a fantastic class teacher, a highly effective SENCo and a dear friend to us all. Her death came as a huge shock as she continued to work right up to the last day of term. The love felt for Lucy was clear to see as more than 300 people attended her funeral on Wednesday, we are lucky to have the support of such a close-knit community of here at Saltwood.
