Mayor's Visit

We were very excited to receive a visit from Counsellor Anita Jones today in her official capacity as Mayor of Hythe. The children of Saltwood school took part in World Kindness Day in November this year by making bookmarks with inspirational messages on them to give away.

It was amazing to hear how many people received one of our bookmarks outside the Town Hall last year. It was even more lovely to find out that they had reached as far afield as our local care homes. Mrs Penny Graham told the whole school in our Gold Book assembly just what a positive impact they had made on people all over Hythe.

We were very honoured to receive a certificate from the Mayor which we will proudly display in school!
