On Tuesday 29th April, eight members of the school chess club attended a chess masterclass at Turner Free School.

The children learnt some useful strategies to improve their skills. They then had some friendly games against each other and the chess team from St Eanswyth's school. 

It was a wonderful morning with the children all showing such excellent sportsmanship and determination.
