  • Wednesday 22 June 2022 Holiday Activities and Food Programme The Holiday Activities and Food programme is available to all children who are entitled to a benefits related Free School Meal. The Shepway Sports Trust have just announced some really exciting summer holiday camps which are offering 270 free spaces to local children. Saltwood parents who receive HAF vouchers from the school can use them to book places on any of the camps on offer! Parents can book using the Wonde link that comes with the vouchers.
  • Friday 22 April 2022 Jubilee Celebrations - 27th May
  • Friday 15 April 2022 Class 1 Helping the Homeless at Easter Class 1 have continued to think of ways to support the homeless and those less fortunate and decided to do some Easter baking for homeless people. All children made a chocolate cornflake nest and decorated with mini eggs. These were then delivered to Action On Homelessness, Folkestone who were very appreciative of the children's efforts and served the cakes alongside dinner on what was a freezing cold April day.   • Friday 4 March 2022 World Book Day 2022 The children and staff really enjoyed showing off their love of stories on World Book Day this year! Click on the pictures to take a closer look.
  • Wednesday 23 February 2022 Year 1 & 2 Football Funday 16 children from Class 1 and 2 were selected to represent Saltwood School at a football funday on the 3 Hills 3G football pitch. Even though some of the players are new to football, they all performed brilliantly and scored lots of goals in the 6 games both teams played. You all really impressed Mr Mullin, Miss Brown and Mrs Dooley and showed Saltwood School in a very good light. Well done to everyone who played.
