Number magic!

Class 1 have been having fun practising numbers to 10! We’ve been matching amounts to digits, then linking them to their number words. Lots of counting, matching and number magic!

Tree Detectives! 🌳🔎

We’ve been learning all about trees! We’ve explored their different parts and become tree detectives, spotting the clues that tell us whether a tree is deciduous or evergreen.

Lost and Found Adventures! 🐧📖

We’ve been bringing our English book Lost and Found to life! 🎭 We’ve been role-playing different scenes, getting into character and using our imaginations to create our own scenes from materials to explore the story.

Conker Adventures!

The children have been making the most of our conkers! From building and testing clever ways to get conkers splashing into the water, to creating detailed maps of our school and village, there has been plenty of exploring, experimenting and learning.

We’ve also been getting creative with conker printing, using paint to make some fantastic patterns and pictures.
And, of course, there has been some excellent conker counting too!

It’s been wonderful to see the children’s curiosity, creativity and problem-solving skills shining through as they learn and play with these autumn treasures.
